Each box is hand carved when you order it from fruit tree prunings or from native tree limbs downed by our fierce winter wind storms. The box is a section of a tree branch, hollowed out and lined with black velvet. It is made to retain the character of its parent branch--woodgrain, knots, wormholes and all. Among the woods I use to make these boxes are maple, Italian prune, madrone, apple, cherry, walnut and rhododendron - whatever is available. You may purchase a box already made and ready to ship or you may order one made in one of three sizes. Ring boxes and stamp boxes are also available. |
Order a Branch Wood Box in a size of your choice When you order, I will make your box from one of the most interesting hardwood branches in my collection. Since no branch is perfectly round, sizes are approximate. I will email an image of the box for your approval before shipping it to you.
