Medium Sized Hand Carved Wooden Barrette |
My medium barrettes are mounted on genuine French barrette backs. French clips used with these barrettes are aproximately three inches long (8 cm). Interior space is two and one quarter inches (57 mm). These barrettes are one of a kind creations. Most have irregular shapes, suggested by the natural patterns in the wood. When completed they are burnished to a high luster, then hand rubbed with a mixture of natural oils and beeswax. Any wood barrettes purchased now will be shipped on the next business day.

Mountain Mahogany Hare Barrette $29 I carved this running hare from a piece of mountain mahogany harvested over thirty years ago in the Montana Rockies. Mounted on a medium sized barrette back, the rabbit measures five inches long by two inches high.
